Almost every other straight rye whiskey you can buy today is barely legal, with 51-53% rye in the mash bill. Not Rendezvous® Rye. It honors the way rye whiskey used to be made, with a high rye content and full, uncompromised flavor. With Rendezvous® Rye, you get a taste of authentic rye whiskey. We hope you enjoy it.
How to Enjoy
Great neat, with a little water, or on the rocks. The high rye mash bill also makes Rendezvous® Rye perfect in one of the classic cocktails made with rye, like a Manhattan, an Old Fashioned, or a Sazerac.
Rendezvous® Rye is named after the annual summer gathering of mountain men known as the "rendezvous."
Back Label Story
There's a first time for everything. From the first snowfall of the year to your first camping trip, there's something truly visceral, and dare we say, magical about the first time. Rendezvous Rye is our first whiskey and thus named after the "Rendezvous," the first recorded whiskey fest out west, and 1820's mountain man gathering in Wyoming and Utah's cache valley that turned whiskey into the first of endless possibilities.
We blend Rendezvous from straight rye whiskeys with high rye mashbills that give it a unique botanical & spice character, with notes of honey, mint, molasses, and dried fruit for good measure. Rendezvous is not chill filtered, a unique choice that keeps its natural oils intact and allows for a full-bodied finish.
Limited supply for a reason. Enjoy now or let it dust over and become a relic.
