This very special, small-batch Gin takes the Wild Gin recipe and redistills it with extra fruit, flowers, spices and an abundance of fresh rose petals. Three varieties of rose are used including the rare and elusive Wild Rose from the Wicklow mountains, large fragrant Heritage Roses and the ancient prized Damask Rose. Combined these roses create a naturally pink, very floral gin.
The delicate nature of petals requires a more gentle, slower distillation than the wild botanical gin. Vapor distillation is more efficient in extracting the essential oils and flavors. After distillation, the gin is further infused with even more roses to deepen the flavors and create a beautiful pink hue.
